Ignite the Night benefits the American Cancer Society and helps the Berlin Claws Up Against Cancer Club bring our community together, embracing our collective power to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer.
What is Ignite the Night 5k?
Ignite the Night is a unique 5K run that highlights the American Cancer Society’s mission to lead the fight for a world without cancer. The glow-in-the-dark race will take place at Olentangy Berlin High School on Friday, May 15. Throughout the evening you will be inspired by stories from cancer survivors and caregivers and leave hopeful that a future without cancer is not only possible but that you will be part of creating it. Ignite the Night will include music, food and games in a family fun atmosphere. There will be a timed 5k event for the running enthusiast as well as a family-friendly walk/run course. On-site fundraisers will help provide a fun atmosphere for all while we join together to save lives from cancer.

Would you like a free race entry? Here is how you can earn it.
- Register Yourself
- After you register, watch you email for your race confirmation. In your confirmation is a unique registration link. Share this registration link with everybody you know. When they use this link to register for the 5k, you earn a referral credit for each paid registration.
- When you have earned 5 referral credits (5 paid registrations), we will automatically credit you $15 back onto the credit card you used to register yourself.
- Thereafter, for every 1 referred credit earned, we will give you $2 back on your credit card. We will only stop giving you referral credits after the amount of money given back equals the amount you originally paid for your registration.
VERY IMPORTANT - In order to earn referral credits, the people registering HAVE to use your unique referral link. If they do not use the link you will NOT earn any credit. Unfortunately we are not able to make any manual adjustments.
