Fun Run/Walk/Food Truck Festival in Memory of Dylan Singer

Pixie Dust Wishes is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by Jaimie Miller.

Their mission is to grant Disney trip wishes to individuals with disabilities/special needs throughout all of Pennsylvania. The cost to send a family to Disney is thousands of dollars. With your help, to date Pixie Dust Wishes has granted SEVEN wishes and has sent seven individuals with disabilities and their family on a Disney dream vacation.

The Pixie Dust Wishes Festival of Wishes is being held in memory of Cindy Singer's son Dylan Singer. Dylan passed away in 2016 at age 19 years old.

Dylan had a rare genetic disease (familial dysautonomia- FD). He was non-verbal but his courage "spoke volumes". And somehow, he still managed to smile and giggle often through all of his daily pain.

Dylan unknowingly taught others about perseverance, resilience and the true power of love. He was a warrior. He was a hero.
There are no words to describe the impact of Dylan's loss. The inability to simply give him a hug or hear him giggle is often unbearable. Cindy hopes that helping others while honoring Dylan's memory ensures that the person she loved most in this world is not forgotten.

SCHEDULE

Registration- begins 9:30 AM
Walkers start - 10:00
Runners start - 10:30
Lunch and afternoon family activities - 11:30

MORNING FUN RUN/WALK

- 2.5K (1.7 mile) or 5K (3.4 mile) through Alverthorpe Park 
- Breakfast Bags served at check-in
- Preregister and receive an event t-shirt, a goodie bag, wristband and 5 raffle tickets
- Registration includes all afternoon activities 
- Restroom facilities
- First Aid station

FOOD TRUCKS and drop-offs only and will NOT be available for community parking.
