Precious Life's Run for Life 5k/2mi Race

Precious Life, Inc is excited to announce their 2nd Annual Run for Life on Saturday, June 27. The race will begin inside the Altoona Curve stadium with one lap around the warning track before exiting the stadium and heading towards Lakemont Park then concluding back at the Curve stadium. Events include: 5k run, 2mi run, & 2mi walk. 

Registration is $25 until June 26th. Day of Race registration is $30. Children under the age of 5 run/walk for free. All participants who register before June 4th will receive a race t-shirt. All proceeds will benefit Precious Life pregnancy centers located in Altoona, Johnstown, & Bedford. 

DAY OF RACE:
Registration will begin at 8:15am with 5k beginning at 9:00am and the 2mi race/walk beginning at 9:15am. Race/Walks will conclude by 11am with awards to follow. 

Awards:
The following categories will receive recognition:
5k run top 3 overall finishers (male & female)
2mi run & 2mi walk overall top finishers (male & female)
Awards will also be given out to the top three (3) male and female finishers in the 5k run, 2mi run, and 2 mi walk in the following age categories:
6-11, 12-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79+

Interested in raising additional funds for Precious Life? Set a goal, reach out to family, friends, co-workers, etc., raise funds to be presented the day of the race. Precious Life swag, additional prizes, and recognition on race day will be given to the Top 3 fundraisers along with knowing your money raised goes to an amazing cause!
