Description
After holding this race last year for my senior graduation project, I realized I wanted to continue for another year! Unlike last year, I am organizing and hosting a 5k walk/race with some of my fellow MIP Kit recipients/ friends! The race will take place on June 1st, 2024, in Downingtown, PA to benefit The MIP Foundation to raise money and awareness for oncology patients like myself. I want other patients to feel just a supported through The MIP Kit Program as I did, and still do.
Some important reminders:
-Parking will be available via the municipal parking lots at Planet Fitness and Kerr Park
-Please no dogs for this event
-No strollers will be allowed on the 5k course, but are permitted for the 2-mile fun walk
-There will be a post-race gathering this year following the race! This event will be held on the fields of Kerr Park.
-There will not be porta potties available
The top finisher in each category will receive a gift card
- Categories are 15&U, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
The oldest finisher will also receive a gift card!
