6:15-7:30 AM  Check in/Packet Pick Up at Kiddie Academy: 

  (in Scoogie Events tent)

7:30 AM  Packet Pick up/registration CLOSES PROMPLY! 

                                         (NO EXCEPTIONS)

7:35 AM  Walk to start line on US 202 Parkway!

7:40 AM  Pre-Race Meeting

7:48 AM                  National Anthem Trumpeted by Skip Schanbacker 

7:50 AM  Special Guest Appearance

8:00 AM  8K Starts

8:08 AM   5K Start

8:09 AM  2-Mile Walk Start

8:10 AM  ½-Mile Kids’ Fun Run Start

8:30-10:00 AM  After Party in the parking lot at Kiddie Academy!

  (hot chocolate, snacks, bounce houses, costume   contest winners, awards ceremony (9:15 am+/-)  

Note
The 8k starts first, followed by the 5k, then the 2 mile fun run and finally we start the KIDS RUN!
So, if you plan on running any of the longer distances, please plan on someone staying to watch the kids run.

How it works: Once you have registered for this event, you will automatically be emailed a unique link in your confirmation email that you can then share with friends ANY WAY YOU'D LIKE: Post your link on Facebook, Twitter or email it to your friends, family & co-workers and each time a friend registers for this event (not including the kids 1/2 mile run or 1 or 2 mile walks) you get $5 back onto the original credit card you used to register for the event. 
Keep doing it til you earn your registration money back…EASY PEASY!

AWARDS:
Awards given for 8K & 5k only, Kids Run & FUN RUN are for FUN! Overall winner (male and female), plus top three males and females in each age category:
NEW: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, (new age group: 80-89). No mailing of awards or shirts.

AWARDS NOTE:
There will be no mailing of awards or shirts. If you have to leave the race early for ANY reason, you must notify us to save your award.  If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and it will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else.
It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards. 
Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a shirt size BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us 24 hours BEFORE RACE DAY (we CANNOT make any changes with your registration within 24hrs of the race...we are simply too busy setting up at that time) and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved giveaway (shirt) for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail shirts!
Packet Pick up time & location will be announced on November 15th!
