PACKET PICK-UP & RACE DAY DETAILS FOR MOTOWN ’24:

(There will be 2 PPU options this year)

IMPORTANT PACKET PICK-UP NOTES:

PLEASE do not arrive before 4:00 pm on Monday or before 3:00 pm on Tuesday, packets will not be available for pick-up until 4pm/3pm.
Packet pick-up is NOT mandatory BUT VERY, VERY (VERY) strongly recommended! 
You can pick-up your packets on race morning. 
But this is not advised as it could cause long lines.
 You CAN pick up packets for friends & family members. Please know their FULL NAMES!

EVERYONE IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO GO TO PACKET PICK-UP ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY!
PLEASE NOT WAIT UNTIL RACE DAY!

P/U YOUR PACKETS @ ONE OF THE PPU’S,
NO STANDING IN LINE IN THE COLD!

AFTER YOU PARK AT COSTCO FOLLOW SIGNS & STATIONED CREW MEMBERS TO THE SIDEWALK ALONG UPPER STATE ROAD ONLY

DO NOT WALK TOWARDS 202!
POLICE WILL ENFORCE THIS! 

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ON DISTANCE SWITCHING
There is NO switching of race distances (8K/5K) after 7:30AM on Race Morning
Switching after 7:30 will get you disqualified. 
You MUST notify the Registration Tent prior to the race (preferably DAYS before!) if you would like to change your distance. 
Note for 8K: There is a timing mat that you MUST cross over at mile 2.5 (turn around), if you do not cross over this mat, you will be DQ’d.

7:30 AM                               Packet Pick up/registration CLOSES PROMPLY@7:30 (NO EXCEPTIONS)

7:35 AM                               Walk to start line on US 202 Parkway!

7:40 AM                               Pre-Race Meeting

7:48 AM                               National Anthem Trumpeted by Skip Schanbacker 

7:50 AM                               Special Guest Appearance                                                         

8:00 AM                               8K Starts

8:08 AM                               5K Start

8:09 AM                               2-Mile Walk Start

8:10 AM                               ½-Mile Kids’ Fun Run Start

8:30-10:00 AM                 After Party in the parking lot at Kiddie Academy!
