Join Bethesda Project during the weekend of October 6th-8th for our fourth Home Run 5K, a virtual 3.1-mile race that you can run or walk at your own pace. When we come together we make steps that make a difference

NEW THIS YEAR:

  • Celebration Block Party! On Saturday, October 7th, join us for a block party at the Rail Park celebrating our guests, residents, staff, and community members! The party begins at 1:00pm immediately following the Tour de Bethesda. 
  • Registration is a flat fee of $40, with suggested but not required fundraising goal of $200.

Registration includes:

  • Short-sleeve race shirt
  • Downloadable race bib
  • Participation in our Tour de Bethesda walking event
  • Participation in our Celebration Block Party

How to participate in the race:

  1. Register for the Home Run 5K
    • Run as an individual or on a team!
  2. Recruit your friends, family, and even your co-workers to join our race
    • Pro-tip: Write a social media post that shares why you're running and invite your networks to join you! Tag @BethesdaProject with our race page (https://runsignup.com/homerun5k) to help direct people to the signup page
  3. Use our Fundraising Tools to help you fundraise. Fundraising is not required but strongly encouraged! 
  4. Run the 5K virtually and join us on October 7th for the Tour de Bethesda with the Celebration Block Party after!
    • Track your time at any point during the race weekend (October 6th-8th) on our race page. 

100% of participant-raised funds directly support people experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia.
