Kimberton Waldorf School 5K &10K Trail Run and Walk and Kid's Fun Run

Kimberton Waldorf School invites you to participate in our 7th Annual 5k &10k Trail Run and Walk and kid's fun run on Sunday October 6th, 2019. Day-of registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. You are encouraged to pre-register on this site! There will be a fun warm up and stretch at 9 in the gym where registration takes place.  The kid's fun run will be held at 9:30 and the trail run begins at 10 a.m. All levels of participation are welcome and encouraged.  A delicious organic lunch will be served by the school's Food For Thought program after the race, free to all who register and available for purchase for all others.  All registrants will get a race t-shirt.

The goal of this event is to promote healthy movement to all ages- from the seasoned trail runner to the wandering nature observer. We will provide free childcare during the race for parents who would like to participate in the race but do not have the means to do so without a child-in-tow. Healthy movement activities, face painting, and encouragement to race participants will be led by seasoned Waldorf Parents and students. 

Our French Creek Conservation Trail is a single loop 5k, taking you across protected fields, through beautiful hardwood forests and along the peaceful French Creek. We will also offer a double loop 10k course. Set a goal for a new trail run PR or simply walk through this protected piece of Chester County with others and enjoy what it has to offer!
