Join us for the 2nd Annual Kinzua Valley Half Marathon! NEW this year the Kinzua Valley 5 Miler! Experience the brand new section of the Kinzua Valley Trail during the 5 Mile race!
Situated in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest, the Kinzua Valley Trail, offers beautiful views of Kinzua Creek and the surrounding forest. Just minutes from all the various attractions the Allegheny National Forest has to offer, the Kinzua Valley Half Marathon provides a great opportunity for a fall weekend getaway!
This crushed gravel rail trail winds alongside Kinzua Creek.
Course Time Limit Half Marathon: 4 hours (18:19/mile)
Course Time Limit 5 Mile: 2 hours (24:00/mile)

Window Start:
Participants may start any time between 8:00-8:30 AM for the Half Marathon and 4:30-4:45 PM for the 5 Mile.
Packet Pick Up:
Packet pick-up will be available from 2:00-6:00 PM on Saturday and 6:30 to 8:00 AM Sunday at the Start/Finish Area.
Awards Ceremony:
No awards ceremony on race day. A virtual awards ceremony will be posted on YouTube in the week following the event.
Awards: Top 3 overall male & female finishers. Top 3 overall masters male & female finishers. Plus the top 3 finishers in each of the following age categories: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over. All awards will be mailed following the event. Please allow 3-4 weeks for awards to arrive.

Health & Safety
At Wolf Creek Race Management, we take the health and safety of our participants very seriously. We will do everything in our power to offer a safe and fun event for all participants. We have taken several steps to ensure the safety of all participants, staff members, volunteers, and spectators. These steps include:
- 30 Minute Open Start Window
- Providing pre-packaged food and drinks
- Making hand sanitizer readily available
- Having EMS on site
- Keeping staff spaced out on the course to provide on course assistance
- Sweeping the course to ensure all participants finish safely
FAQs
Is there a course time limit?
- Yes, participants in the Half Marathon must run or walk under 4 hours. 5 mile participants must run or walk under 2 hours.
Is there an awards ceremony?
- No. All medals will be mailed post-race and should arrive within 2-3 weeks depending on your location. A virtual award ceremony video will be posted on YouTube in the week following the event.
Can I walk?
- Absolutely, as long as you can finish the race in the given course time limit.
Will there be race day registration?
- No.
Are pets allowed?
- No.
