Join us for the Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort's Annual Freedom 5k on Monday, July 6th!

*This race is NOT open to the public! Only guests, homeowners, & members who have a valid car pass for 7/6/26 are eligible to register* 

Lace Up and Get Ready! 
Get your running shoes ready for the Fripp Island Annual Freedom 5k on July 6th! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for some fun, this event is for everyone. Come dressed in your best red, white, and blue attire to show your patriotic spirit!

Medals will be given out for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in different age groups.  Age groups are listed in the Awards Ceremony section below.

• Official timed and recorded 4th of July 5K!
• Runners race BIB will track individuals' location and timing. 
• Runner's time will start as they cross the starting line.

Packet Pick-Up Details (Runners MUST bring their ID to pick up/ receive their packet!)

• Early Bird Pick-Up: June 28th-July 2nd, from 9am - 5pm at the Nature Center front desk (8 Veranda Beach Dr). 
  • Must have your ID to pick up packet.

• Race Day Pick-Up: July 6th, from 7:15am-8:45am at the Creekhouse. 
  • Individuals who register day of will not be guaranteed their preferred giveaway t-shirt size. 
  • Day of registration price increases to $50 

Registration Pricing:

• Normal Pricing $40 per person: June 9th - July 5th
• Race Day Pricing $50 per person: July 6th

Members Receive a $10 Discount - the discount is given at check out and requires your member number.

Race Day Information
~Packet/Shirt Pick-Up: Inside the Creekhouse, from 7:15 am to 8:45 am.
~Race Start: 9 am, Outside the Creekhouse.
~Race Finish: Outside the Creekhouse.

• All participants must provide proof of ID to be eligible for early bird or race day packet pick-up and to purchase beer on race day.
• Online registration only! There will be QR codes at check in for day of registration. Cash is NOT accepted. 
• Fripp Island members MUST show member card upon bib pick up!! Members can only use discount for card-holding members!! Any member sharing their discount code to other family members will be upcharged $10 for early bird packet pick up or $15 for race day! 
• This is an official timed race. Individuals will have their time documented. 

Course Rules: Individuals will be disqualified and removed from race course. 

• NO Dogs/animals allowed on the course.
• NO roller blades, scooters, bikes, etc. allowed.
• NO wagons, pushcarts, golf carts allowed. 
• BABY STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED, BUT WILL NEED TO START IN THE BACK OF THE RACE BEHIND ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS.

AWARDS CEREMONY:  Start next to finish line at 10 am 

We will start our awards ceremony for each age group in the order of: 11-17 (male/female) 18-29 (male/ female) 30-39 (male/female)
40-49 (male/female) 10 & UNDER  (male/female)** 50-59 (male/female) 60-69 (male/female) 70+ (male/female)
