Join Us for the Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort's Annual Freedom 5k on July 3rd!

*This race is NOT open to the public! Only guests, homeowners, & members who have a valid car pass for 7/3/25 are eligible to register* 

Lace Up and Get Ready! 
Get your running shoes ready for the Fripp Island Annual Freedom 5k on July 3rd! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for some fun, this event is for everyone. Come dressed in your best red, white, and blue attire to show your patriotic spirit!

The race will kick off with a color guard performance and national anthem ceremony put on by Beaufort High's JROTC program. After the race, join us for a fantastic after-party with fun! Even a beverage cart with your favorite cold beers!

• Official timed and recorded 4th of July 5K!
• Runners race BIB will track individuals' location and timing. 
•  Runner's time will start as they cross the starting line.

Packet Pick-Up Details (Runners MUST bring their ID to pick up/ receive their packet!)

• Early Bird Pick-Up: June 28th-July 2nd, from 9 am - 5 pm at the Nature Center front desk (8 Veranda Beach Dr). 
  • Must have your ID to pick up packet.
  • Individuals CAN NOT pick up other individual's packets.

• Race Day Pick-Up: July 3rd, from 7:15am-8:45am at the Creekhouse. 
  • Individuals who register day of will not be guaranteed their preferred giveaway t-shirt size. 
  • Day of registration price increase to $45 

Registration Pricing:

• Normal Pricing $35 per person: June 2nd - July 2nd
• Race Day Pricing $45 per person: July 3rd

Race Day Information
~Packet/Shirt Pick-Up: Inside the Creekhouse, from 7:15 am to 8:45 am.
~Race Start: 9 am, Outside the Creekhouse.
~Race Finish: Outside the Creekhouse.

• All participants must provide proof of ID to be eligible for early bird or race day packet pick-up and to purchase beer.
• Online registration only! There will be QR codes at check in for day of registration. Cash is NOT accepted. 
• Fripp Island members MUST show member card upon bib pick up!! Members can only use discount for cardholding members!! Any member sharing their discount code to other family members will be upcharge $10 early bird packet pick up or $15 race day! 
• Individuals CAN NOT pick up another runner's bib during early bird packet pick up.
• This is an official timed race. Individuals will have their time documented. 

Course Rules: Individuals will be disqualified and removed from race course. 

• NO Dogs/animals allowed on the course
• NO roller blades, scooters, bikes, etc. allowed.
• NO wagons, pushcarts, golf carts allowed. 

AWARDS CEREMONEY:  start next to finish line at 10am 

 we will start our awards ceremony for each age group in the order of: 11-17 (male/female) 18-29 (male/ female) 30-39 (male/female)
40-49 (male/female) 10 & UNDER  (male/female)** 50-59 (male/female) 60-69 (male/female) 70-79 (male/female) 80+ (male/female)
