This year's Lucky Kidney Run will be 100% VIRTUAL! We are taking extra precautions due to continued COVID-19 concerns in our community and across the country. We had to cancel last year, but this year we will carry on with the Lucky Kidney Run! View the most recent updates here (revised Friday, March 12).

Virtual means you register for the event as you usually would, you run/walk wherever and whenever you like, then upload your results until you reach your goal distance. There is so much flexibility with virtual, you can even complete portions of the event on different days and see cool milestone rewards as you get closer to your goal.

You don't have to run the whole distance at once. You may run anytime during the week of the event, for your convenience, and we ask that you truthfully record your final time when reporting your virtual results.  Reporting time is optional if you'd rather not compete. (For reporting results, you must have a bib number, and you must NOT select "anonymous" for the participant lookup feature. You will see this when you register. You will receive a bib number after registering.)

SHIRTS: FREE SHIPPING! We are providing FREE shipping services this year for optimal safety measures. Your shirt will be mailed to the address you provide during registration. If you register before March 1, you should receive your event shirt before the 14th. Please know that delays caused by external sources such as postal or shipping company-related delays, weather, the economy, or other possible circumstances, are out of our control.  Thank you in advance for your understanding & patience!

NEW this Year - Upload your own PICS!  You may post pictures of yourself & your race route, buddies, family, etc. on this registration website! Detailed instructions will be emailed to you on how to do this. We encourage you to post these, and to post on social media using #luckykidneyrun. Share the fun and good times together, while safely apart!

DIGITAL BIBS. Although we are virtual this year, we are making race day feel as “in-person” as possible with digital bibs!. This means you still get a bib to wear that is personalized just for you, with your name and bib number on it. Print your race bib, pin it to your race shirt when you're ready to race, and Post a selfie using #luckykidneyrun to show off your awesomeness!

FINISHER CERTIFICATES. Upon entering your time / completion status, you will receive a personalized finisher certificate with your name on it.

REGULAR price registration is open through February 28th, 2021, 11:59pm. Registration fee includes 6K race or 1 Mile Walk, 2021 Event Shirt safely mailed to your door, a customized Digital Bib, and a personalized Finisher Certificate. Regular registration is $35/person for ages 13+. The fee is for your registration, locally designed race shirt, and FREE SHIPPING of your race shirt.

Registration for children 9-12 years old is $20/person and does NOT include a race shirt; registration for children ages 8 and under is FREE and does NOT Include a race shirt. Registration for the Kids Only Run / Walk Challenge is FREE and does NOT include a race shirt.

Extra race shirts may be purchased online (while supplies last).

LATE registration will increase starting March 1st, 2021, at midnight (12:00am). The late registration price is $40 for ages 13+, and $25 for ages 9-12. Registration remains open through Wednesday, March 17th, which is St. Patrick's Day. This gives several extra days to complete the race!

Results. You may post your results starting on Monday, March 8, 2021, at 12:00am (midnight). You have until the evening of Wednesday,  March 17, at 11:59pm to post your results. Results entry will close at that point.

The Lucky Kidney Run™ is a large fundraiser for the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation. We hope to still have a fun and successful event despite having to go virtual because of COVID-19. Please support our local mission of improving the lives of East Tennesseans suffering from kidney disease; 100% of funds raised stay right here in East Tennessee. We ask for your help in making this a strong and successful event. No donation or fundraising goal is too small!
