Description
One Vision International is hosting its fourth annual Run/Walk with One Vision 5K! This is a family-friendly race.
Join us at Victor Ashe Park. All proceeds go to One Vision International.
Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, One Vision is a faith-based non-profit organization. We focus on people viewed by society as "the least of these", and aim to put our faith into action. We want the poor, hurt, wounded, and abused to know there is help and healing.
All registered runners and walkers will receive a short sleeve, dry-fit t-shirt! YOU MUST SIGN UP BY OCTOBER 7th TO BE GUARANTEED A RACE SHIRT! After that, shirts will be available while supplies last - first come, first serve. The event will be a timed event. Each runner/walker will be running to represent one of our sponsor children in either Brazil or the Dominican Republic. You will have the name of a child you are running for and representing. We ask each runner/walker to pray for that specific child during the race. We will have awards for the top 3 finishers.
Please bring your own hydration. Due to the requirements outlined by the City of Knoxville at this time, there will be no water during the race. You will be given a bottle of water at the finish line.
Can't join us on race day? That's OK! You can run or walk from wherever you are at any time and anywhere from October 14th - 29th, 2022- just choose the virtual option! Participating virtually means you run or walk your distance (honor system) in your own location - you still get your shirt, bib, and medal! We will mail your shirt after the October 29th Race Day.
You can view the Course Map under Photo's (at the bottom of the page). We are so excited and hope to see you on RACE DAY!!
PACKET PICK UP will be onsite beginning at 7:30 am until 9 am.
