The Active Texan Tinsel Trot

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Active Texan Tinsel Trot presented by Keys and Walsh, a festive holiday 5K, 10K race and 1 mile kids/family fun run at Lake Walk on December 14th. Grab your friends, your family, your team, your club and come enjoy this fun festive evening race. We will finish the race as the sun sets on the green by the pavilion at Lake Walk to enjoy a great festive after party with food trucks, holiday games and selfie stations. The 1 mile fun run will start at 4:30 pm. The 5k and 10k races will start at 5:00 pm.

Raffle tickets for a chance to win 2 tickets to Santas Wonderland will be available for purchase on race day! $5 for one raffle ticket or $20 for 5 raffle tickets! (cash or Venmo only) Must be present to win. Raffle winner will be announced during the post race party on the green. 

Each participant will receive a finisher medal. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female for the 5k and 10k races. Participants in the 5k and 10k races will also receive a t-shirt and some other swag from sponsors. The races will be chip timed. 

For 10k participants only, a headlamp is highly recommended as the race will finish in the dark, however the course is well lit for a majority of it by the street lights. We will also have glow sticks/bracelets for participants to wear as well as glow sticks on the race course.

Packet Pick up options:
1. Friday December 13th from 3-6pm at the Pavilion at Lake Walk where the race will start. 4107 Lake Atlas Drive. 
2. On race day the 14th from 3-4:20pm
