Location of start
The event starts close to the trail head car park (Kendall Library). CURRENT CONSTRUCTION ON ELDRIGE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO TURN LEFT INTO THE LIBRARAY PARKING LOT. YOU CAN MAKE A U TURN ONCE YOU PASS THE LIBRARY AND ENTER THE PARKING LOT.

Take Eldridge south if travelling from I-10.
If traveling from 59, Westpark, Richmond, Westheimer or Briar forest take Eldridge north.
Park at the Kendall Neighborhood Library or at Memorial Mews and Memorial.
Enter Terry Hershey Park from the trail head entrance North Bound, or from the parking lot at Memorial Drive / Memorial Mews and Terry Hershey Park. There will be signs directing to the start point on Eldridge. Look or the tents along the trial.
Description
"We're "Lookin' For a Cure" in scenic Terry Hershey Park! Join A Cure in Sight on Saturday November 1st, 2025 from 8AM-11AM, to walk or run with us. We will be taking steps to find a cure for a rare eye cancer, ocular melanoma. Ocular Melanoma is estimated by the American Cancer Society to have roughly 3000 new cases each year nationwide. Start your team, bring your friends and family and start your fundraising efforts to help us meet our goal of $20,000. A portion of the proceeds will benefit research in Houston,Texas.
