This year, Richmond Road Runners Club will be hosting a Turkey Trot 10K and Kids Run on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 25th at Bryan Park. The Kids Run will begin at 8:30am and the Turkey Trot 10K will begin at 9:00am. There will also be a virtual Turkey Trot 10k option that will take place over Thanksgiving weekend.
This is an in-person 10K race. Runners must be 6 years old or older to participate in the 10K race.

Registration Fees: Until October 31 @ 11:59 PM the price is: RRRC members - $25 plus processing fee; Non-members - $30 plus processing fee. Starting November 1, the price is: RRRC members - $30 plus processing fee; Non-members - $35 plus processing fee
This is an in-person race. Runners must be 2-10 years old to participate in this virtual race.
Registration is free, but there is an option to add on a race shirt for $5.
This is a 10K virtual race, run, or walk. Runners must be 6 years old or older to participate in the 10K virtual race.

Refund Policy: All entry fees and processing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, no exceptions. Registrations cannot be deferred to a later race. Bib numbers are not transferrable. In the event of postponements or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refunds.
Race shirts are guaranteed to runners who register for the 10K before Sunday, November 7 at 11:59 PM. You are bound to the size that you select. We do not guarantee the perfect fit or color.
Registrants of the Kids Run can purchase a shirt for $5 when registering.
The 10K course will be a two loop course in Joseph Bryan Park. The location has been moved because the University of Richmond is not allowing outside events due to COVID-19.
This is a walker-friendly event. Walkers should be able to complete the 6.2-mile course in under 2 hours (19 minutes per mile pace). We do ask you to place yourself toward the rear of the starting corral.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY. BE ALERT, WATCH FOR TRAFFIC AND PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS, COURSE MARSHALS, AND POLICE.
This is a road race conducted under the rules of USATF and RRCA. In consideration of the safety of all participants, the following are not allowed on the course during the race: baby joggers, baby strollers, headphones, animals on or off leash, skateboards, inline or roller skates, or bicycles. The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, RRRC encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the Turkey Trot 10K.
This is a cupless race. Water refill stations will be provided on the course. Sports drinks, water and snacks will be provided after the 10K race.
