Description
Join everyone’s favorite hotdog-loving golden retriever @DashDog for a fun-filled 5K run or walk! This virtual event can be done anywhere, anytime between July 1 – July 31. Registration includes a Printable Bib, access to Dash’s Strava Club, the Dash to Cure Cancer Facebook Group, and an EXCLUSIVE medal featuring the Golden Dog himself.

Even better - 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Dash and his hooman friends support the mission of LLS: to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS also prioritizes improving access to care and cancer treatments for underserved communities (people impacted by racial, cultural and rural barriers) and pediatric/young adult initiatives – initiatives that are very near-and-dear to Dash’s heart! About Dash
"I’m a 10-year old male golden retriever living in Redmond, Washington (just east of Seattle). Some people think I’m mixed with another breed because I'm a bit shorter and fluffier than many other Goldens. But I'm not a mix... I'm 100% Golden Retriever!
When I was 8 weeks old, I became the mascot for the Washington/Alaska Team in Training Triathlon Team. I’ve been the mascot now for over 10 years! I’ve supported my Team at many events and Team Dash continues to raise funds for blood cancer research and patient services/support.
I became a viral sensation in September 2018 when I was spotted at a Seattle Mariners game holding a hot dog in my mouth. I now have over 36,000 Instagram followers (@Dash.Dog)!
I've been up and down the west coast and have followers all around the globe. Spreading happiness and laughter is my mission. By signing up for the Dash to Cure Cancer Virtual 5K, you’re going to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and me cure blood cancer!"
