Seattle Kraken 5K

WE ARE SOLD OUT FOR 2024. THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! 

The Seattle Kraken 5K presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) will take place Saturday October 5th at Green Lake Park in Seattle. Proceeds from the event benefit the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund. This 5K fun run/walk will help kick off the start of the 2024 –2025 Seattle Kraken Season. Everett Fitzhugh will host the festivities which will feature members of our broadcast team, Buoy, and other Kraken special guests. Participants will enjoy a unique Seattle Kraken race event and it is designed for everyone to enjoy. Whether you run or walk, join us and show your support for the Seattle Kraken and the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund! 

Reduced pricing for kids up to age 18.

Race Day October 5: 

8:00am - Registration opens

8:30am - Costume contest

9:00am - Kids Dash

9:30am - 5K start - Wave 1 - under 8:00 minute per mile pace

9:35am - 5K start - Wave 2 - 8:00 - 10:00 minute per mile pace

9:40am - 5K start - Wave 3 - 10:00 - 12:00 minute per mile pace

9:45am - 5K start - Wave 4 - 12:00 - 14:00 minute per mile pace

9:50am - 5K start - Wave 5 - 14:00 minute per mile pace or over

10:30am - Awards

Sign up for the virtual event to join us from your neighborhood. Virtual packets will include a race bib, event shirt and finisher's medal that will be sent to your home. Submit your photos and results to be a part of the official finisher's list. Virtual registration ends September 25th.
