We are happy to announce the return of the Finish Line Training Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk for Thanksgiving morning, 2021.

We look forward to seeing the community of runners we have built come together again in a celebration of fitness and good health. 

There are a few very exciting changes to the 2021 event that you will most certainly find fun for both individual runners and those who come out with family and friends.

This year's trot will be a prediction run. That means that winners will be calculated based on each participants "prediction" of their finishing time and how close that time matches with the actual finish time.  

Each participant that wishes to make a written prediction of their finishing time for the 5K run will submit that predicted time at least 15 minutes prior to the race start. Those electing to do so will be required to run without ear buds and without timing devices of any sort. You will be strongly encouraged to run with friends and family to keep you company or run on your own using your expert self pacing skills to guide you. 

The timing clock will not be visible to runners until after they finish the 5K at which time you will be able to see how close you came to the prediction. 

The top 50 closest predictors will win prizes and there will be a multitude of Thanksgiving themed prizes to choose from with the people coming closest to their prediction picking first.  Stay tuned for details on these prizes...

There will still be the standard participant goodie bag which will include a wearable item guaranteed to all pre-registered runners and walkers. See registration for details.
