Step for a Month, Make a Forever Difference

Get ready to lace up and head outside—the Movin’ 4 Missions Step Challenge is back for another month-long celebration of movement and mission. Thanks to the incredible participation we’ve seen, we’re keeping the momentum going. Walk anywhere, anytime, and invite as many friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors as you can. Every step helps change lives.

How it Works:

• Register to benefit one of four missions (Social Justice, Access to Education, Care of Retired Sisters or Greatest Need). Registration is $32 per person plus fees and taxes. (see additional pricing details under Participant Perks below)

• Sign up as an individual or join/create a team, and walk in person or virtually with them.

• Get friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and parishioners to support you with donations.

• Count your steps any time you walk or run during the month of May, and add your daily results to your team’s total online. You can log steps alone or with teammates in your neighborhood, at parks, on hiking trails—even on a treadmill.

• Be sure to snap some photos while you’re steppin’—especially if you’re sporting the new M4M T‑shirt design—and we’ll share them on the SSSF Movin’ 4 Missions Facebook page.

• Exchange high-fives when you or your team reaches the goal.

Participant Perks

Each participant can receive a Movin’ 4 Missions T-shirt (additional fee required) to wear while logging steps or anytime you want to show your M4M spirit. We have a brand-new Movin’4 Missions t‑shirt design, along with the option of a sunhat featuring the School Sisters of St. Francis logo. It’s a great way to publicize and promote the event! Orders for T-shirts placed by April 13th will be delivered during the first week of May. For orders placed after April 13th, the T-shirts will arrive later in May. If you choose to waive the t-shirt fee, the registration cost will be $10.00, plus any applicable fees and taxes.

And here’s something extra special for Movin’4 Missions participants: When you register, you’ll automatically be entered into two drawings to win a $40 voucher to use toward food or beverage at the Sisters’ Oktoberfest event on September 12, 2026. The first drawing will take place on April 13, and the second drawing will be held on May 1. Vouchers can be picked up or mailed to you. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting the mission—and giving you a chance to enjoy even more fun at this cherished celebration.
