This event honors individuals living with a brain tumor, those who lost the fight, and the many people who love them, all while raising funds to support research to find better treatments and, eventually, cures. More than 30 “warriors” – individuals currently in treatment or who have completed treatment – participated alongside friends, family members and care providers, clad in yellow tee shirts.
Researchers and care providers from Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin were on hand for the event to answer questions and show their support for current and former patients.
Since 2010, this event has raised over $1,000,000 for brain tumor research at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Persons with any financial limitations please contact organizers to discuss a Fee Waiver.
The shirts are cotton unisex and those registered by noon May 18 are guaranteed a custom race shirt. After that, shirts be available while on line supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come first serve basis.
