WALK to Benefit Community Projects for Seniors

Awareness and Fundraising WALK in support of the Community Projects for Seniors mission to brighten the everyday lives of senior citizens who reside in low-income housing throughout 50 cities within 8 counties of S.E. Wisconsin, by walking with us on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Our meal & social programs, and care package delivery, helps fight loneliness, reduce social isolation, and build human connections.

We delivered a few hundred hot Christmas meals in 1986.  Currently, hundreds of volunteers deliver more than 3,000 free hot ready-to-eat meals every year on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Date: Saturday, September 27, 2025
Time: 10:00 A.M.

$35 per walker, includes t-shirt.

$35 fee includes all credit card fees.

Kids under 12 are free (no shirt).

Location: Lake Vista Park - 4001 Lake Vista Parkway, Oak Creek, WI 53154
Distance: 5K Walk (Non-Competitive)

There are also 2 fun short-cuts if you want to walk less than 5K.

9:00 AM:  Check-In Starts.

10:00 - 10:30 AM:  Opening Ceremony.

10:30 AM:  Walk Starts.

9:00 AM - 12 Noon: Complimentary refreshments, coffee available for purchase.

9:00 AM - 12:15 PM: 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold.

Directly after the Walk: Mingling and Music.

If you choose not to walk, you can just go directly to the mingling.

12:30 PM:  (50/50) Raffle Winner Announcement.

PACKER PARTY MINI-FUNDRAISER

Help Jeffery take on the challenge of raising more than $800 at his fun Packer Party Mini-Fundraiser.

Donate $10 for 1 person, $20 for 2 people... to attend his Packer Party at 11:30 A.M. on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Urban Harvest Brewery at 1024 S 5th St in Milwaukee, Wi.  Donate to his mini-fundraiser on-line, right here.  Select DONATE, scroll down a little, and select "Jeffery's Crew for a Cause."

Type "PACKERS" and the name of each person attending.

Be sure to donate $10 for each person.

Hurry!  Limited seating.  The capacity is only 80 people.  Jeff plans to raise a minimum of $800 (that is 80 people x $10 each) to support Community Projects for Seniors.  Join Jeffery to watch the Packers beat the Jaguars.

All of the proceeds from Jeffery's mini-fundraiser goes toward our overall goal to raise $65,000 at our WALK Fundraiser in September of 2025.
