The race is on for July 5th!
Start Independence day off with the Lake Country Freedom 5K & 10K in Oconomowoc, WI. This event is limited to 200 participants so register NOW, because we sold out last year!
All the races start at Roosevelt Park on the Lake County Trail. The trail is paved and super flat with very limited elevation change,
This will be a wave start race. Waves of 10 people will start every minute. There will be 10 rows of cones with 10 cones per row spaced 10 feet apart. You will self assign your wave on race day by selecting the wave and standing next to the cone. The announcer will start each wave. We ask that people social distance at least 6 feet while in the park and wait until 10 minutes prior to select your wave. Your time will not start until you cross the start line. As you make your way from the wave to the start, please continue to socially distanced by 10 feet.
Once finished, please clear the race area so we can bring in the second race.
Overall Male & Female will receive medals. Top 3 male & female finishers in 5 year age groups will receive a custom medal. All finishers will receive a custom Lake Country Freedom 5K/10K Finisher medal.
Medals update. We are working on getting finisher medals, but they will not be medals with lights on.
PLEASE BRING YOUR RECEIPT WITH YOU!
You do not need to print it. We will need to scan the QR code on the receipt, though, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

Sorry we will not be holding a Kiddo's 1K this year.
Bring the kiddos out for the Kiddos 1K. All kids will get a bib just like Mom & Dad and they get a SCSE finisher medal. The race is FREE for the kiddos if Mom or Dad is registered and you can register on line at no charge. Sorry no shirts for the kiddos and the race is really intended for kids under 10. It is not a full kilometer.
