Refunds
No Refund Policy:
Refunds are not permitted for any reason, including (but certainly not limited to):
- Extreme weather events: blizzard, tsunami, hurricane, tornado, lightning, or locust attack.
- Personal circumstances: oversleeping, birth, death, marriage, divorce, taxes, or an IRS audit.
- Unusual happenings: zombie apocalypse, Elvis sightings, Beatles reunions, or Packers Super Bowl wins.
- Common "oops" moments: forgetting, poor planning, or not training enough.

Flexible Options Instead of Refunds:
While we don’t offer refunds, you can:
- Get referral discounts.
- Transfer your bib to another participant.
- Change your shirt size.
- Defer your registration to the next year.
- Change your race distance.
Deferrals
- Race > 15 Days Away: Free deferral.
- Race < 15 Days Away: A convenience fee applies.
Important Note: A deferral does not automatically register you for the next year’s race—you’ll need to claim your deferral.
How to Modify Your Registration
Best done on a laptop or desktop, as some phones may not support these options.
- Log in to RunSignUp.com.
- Select your Profile.
- Scroll to the race you want to modify.
- Click Manage Registration.
- Choose from options like:
- Transfer your registration.
- Change your shirt size.
- Modify your team.
- Change distances.
- Resend confirmation/QR code.
- Defer or claim a deferred race.
How to Join a Team After Registering
- Log in to RunSignUp.com.
- Select your Profile.
- Scroll to the race you want to modify.
- Click Group/Team.
- Select or create a team.
Insurance
We recommend purchasing event insurance during checkout to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
Coverage Includes:
- Accident or illness.
- Family emergencies.

Details & Fine Print
- The deferral cutoff is 15 days prior to the event—this is when race gear is ordered.
- Deferrals are not available for:
- Wisconsin Trail Assail Series
- Chilly Willy Winter Run Series
- Wine Walk Series
- Beer Garden Series
However, bibs for these events can be gifted to another runner.
- Benefits apply to SCSE-owned events. Some managed events may also include these benefits.
- SCSE reserves the right to change any program at any time.
Referrals
How It Works:
- At checkout, share your registration on Facebook and tag friends.
- If friends register from your post, you’ll receive referral credits.
- Alternatively, email your unique referral link (found in your registration email receipt).
Referral Credit Details:
- Default: $20 credit for every 5 referrals.
- Maximum credit: Up to a 100% refund of your registration fee.
- No limit to how many referrals you can earn!
