REFUNDS

Refunds are not permitted for any reason including, but not limited to blizzard, tsunami, hurricane, typhoon, earthquake, tornado, derecho storm, hail, lightning, thunder, zombie apocalypse, locust attack, oversleeping, birth, death, taxes, IRS audit, engagements, marriage, divorce, jail, Elvis sighting, Beatles reunion, stampede, war, peace, nuclear explosion, Packers Super Bowl win, Blob attacks, not training enough, training too much, poor prior planning or our favorite, "I forgot".  Have an “excuse” you would like to add to the list?  Let us know.

While there are no refunds, you can get referral discounts, transfer your bib, change your shirt size, defer your registration until next year, or change your distance.

DEFERRALS

Race > 15 days away = free. See instructions below
Race < 15 days away = a convienance fee. 

A deferral does not automatically register you for the race the following year. You will need to claim your deferral. See instructions.

HOW TO TRANSFER, DEFER, CHANGE SHIRTS SIZE, & CHANGE DISTANCES

*This is best done on a laptop or desktop. Some phones do not support this.

• Login into RunSignUp.com
• Select your Profile.
• Scroll down to the race you would like to modify.
• Select "Manage Registration".
• All of the race options will be listed on the menu (transfers, change shirts size, modify team, change distances, resend confirmation / QR code, deferral a race or claim a deferred race).

The cut off date for deferrals is 15 days prior to the event, because that is when we purchase race gear. We give runners as much flexibility as possible, but there has to be a cut off date and that is 15 days. Wisconsin Trail Assail Series, Chilly Willy Winter Run Series, Wine Walk Series, & Beer Garden Series runners are not eligible for deferrals, but can gift their bib to another runner.  

These benefits apply to Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC owned events. Some managed events have selected to include these benefits.

We reserve the right to change any program, any time, for any reason.

REFERRALS

1. At checkout, you will be asked if you want to share your attendance on Facebook. If you do, tag friends in the post and, if they register, you will get a referral refund. The amount will vary because race prices vary, but the default is $20.00 referral refund for every 5 referrals.

2. You can also email them your “special referral link” and get the same credit. You can find your unique referral code on your registration email receipt. If you don’t have the receipt, login to your RSU account and email the receipt to yourself and the code will be contained in the email. You can also post that code on social media and if someone registers from that link, you get credit. The “special referral link” is actually a website link that tracks your referrals and registration. In the picture below it is the website in parenthases.

There is no limit to how many referrals you can earn credit for. The max credit is a 100% refund of your entry fee.

The video refers to a contest with the top referrer. We do not do that, but the process to send referral codes is the same.
