Description
The City of Oconomowoc Parks and Rec Department along with friends from Silver Circle Sports Events & Silver Circle Foundation, 501(c)3 are bringing something fun during the daytime on New Year's Eve in Oconomowoc at Fowler Park. The event is free, but kids must register on line if they are participating in the run.
Please dress for the weather to enjoy all the fun to be had!
Activities Include:
- Play games and win make-and-take kits. Get crafty at home later!
- Races for ages 1 and up! Let’s shuffle in the snow. Racers will get a race bib, finisher woodles, finish photos will be posted! This event is free, but you must sign up.
- Tunes to rock out to while you’re enjoying the festivities.
- Selfie station. We’ve got the props; just smile and have fun for a photo to remember the fun!
- Make sure you’re ready at noon for the official ball drop, confetti canons, noise makers, let’s party! We have a very different type of ball drop with help from our local firefighters!
At 12 p.m. we will do a countdown and Noon-Year's Ball Drop from Western Lakes ladder truck.
Donations
Help support our amazing downtown Oconomowoc Christmas light program. Donations are through Silver Circle Foundation 501(c)3 with one hundred percent of the donations designated for the program!
NEW FOR 2024!
We are splitting the race into two races!
- One for kids 1-6 years old
- One for kids 7-12 years old.
If you have children in both age ranges, and they want to run together, that is fine.
Teams
Running with friends and family is super fun. Create a team during registration and invite others. It is free to create and free to join a team. If your team has 4 or more as of December 29th, we will package your team's bibs, and have it ready for the team captains to pickup.
Early Packet Pickup
You can now pickup your packet the day before the event!

You do not need to print it, but we will need to scan the QR code on the email receipt, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

Picking up more than one packet
If you are picking up for more than a couple people, please do the following:
1. Put all of their QR codes on one sheet of paper OR
2. Write all of their names on one sheet of paper (last name, first name, tshirt).
That will make your life a whole lot easier when you go to hand out the info to your team.
Finisher Woodles
Finisher Woodles
Everyone gets a finisher Woodle from Ridgeway Woodworks. These custom Woodles are made from recycled wood sourced from the Lake Country area and crafted in Oconomowoc. Make sure you check out their website for Woodle Ornaments, which make a great last-minute gift!
Hot Chocolate
Our charity partner Silver Circle Foundation, Inc 501(c)3 will be selling hot chocolate at the event. All proceeds will be donated to the Downtown Oconomowoc Christmas Lights Fund. Hot chocolate will be $2.00 per cup and includes all the "fixings". Cash only please.
Course
Parking
Street parking is available throughout the residential neighborhoods near Fowler Lake Park. There is NO PARKING at the start/finish line and no vehicles will be allowed to enter Fowler Lake Park. We are expecting over 600 participants for this race. Please plan ahead, car pool, and arrive early keeping in mind you will need to park and walk to the start/finish line.
Another option for parking is to park in the City of Oconomowoc Fowler Lake Parking Lot on the south side of Fowler Lake. There will be plenty of parking available in this lot on race day and the start/finish line is only a short 10 minute walk from this parking lot. Oconomowoc parking map.
