EARLY CHECK-IN:
Early Check In will be held on March 15, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Running Elements (One Daytona) 260 Daytona Blvd Ste 410, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
RACE DAY:
Location: On the beach @ Cardinal Drive Beach Approach (Ormond Beach) just south of the beach patrol building and the beach ramp.
Parking: There is a large public parking lot at the Northwest corner of A1A and Cardinal Drive.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE (times are approximate):
- 600p-645p: Race Day Check In and Registration
- 7:15p: Opening Remarks and National Anthem
- 7:30p: RACE START (The start time can vary depending on sunset and beach safety clearance).
- 830p: Awards @ Race Site
WEATHER: This is a rain or shine event benefiting the Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach. If conditions become unsafe to hold the event, that decision will be made at the time of the event Saturday evening between Rotary, Beach Patrol, and EES (race timers). Registered participants who choose to not attend the race due to weather conditions will have the option to switch to virtual and pick up their shirt/medal at The Running Elements store during regular business hours starting Sunday, March 18, 2024. Virtual participants do not need to submit times. Virtuals are not included in age group awards or online results.
