In addition to finisher medals awarded for each finisher in the race, there will be specific overall, masters, grand masters, great grand masters, and age group awards for the 5K RUN. There are several other Corporate Cup Awards detailed below that will be given out as well.
OVERALL AWARDS
The top finishers in the 5K RUN will receive an overall award in the following categories:
- Overall Male and Female (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) - scored using GUN TIME
- Masters (40+) male and female (1st Only) - scored using GUN TIME
- Grand Masters (50+) male and female (1st Only) - scored using CHIP TIME
- Great Grand Masters (60+) male and female (1st Only) - scored using CHIP TIME
- The fastest PUSH ASSIST TEAM in the 5K ROLL will receive an overall award
5K RUN AGE GROUP CATEGORIES
The 1st place male and female in each of the following age group categories will receive an age group award:
15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+*
*if there are runners over the age of 89, an additional age group category will be created for the appropriate 5-year window.
Overall and Age Group awards must be picked up at the event. When registering, choose to have your results sent via text message or email. These are sent within minutes of you finishing the race. Results can be checked at our TIMING AND RESULTS tent near the finish line. Awards can be claimed from the AWARDS Tent. Overall and Age Group Awards will not be shipped post-race.
FASTEST CEO COMPETITION
The Fastest CEO Competition is an exclusive award category within the 5K, recognizing the Top Male and Female CEO finishers.
Here's what you need to know:
- Your CEO must be registered for the 5K Run
- He/She must also be a registered member of your company's team
- CEOs, Presidents, Owners, COOs, CFOs, and CIOs can compete in this category
- One per company
- Team Captains: Sign your CEO up for the competition using the link in the Team Captain Handbook (the link to the Handbook is in the confirmation email you received when your team was created)
- Two winners - Top Male CEO and Top Female CEO
TEAM AWARDS - FASTEST COMPANY
The Fastest Company award recognizes the combined total time of the top 5 male and top 5 female finishers, by company. Participants must be registered on your team, and participating in the 5K Run. The Company's time will be the combined total time of the top 5 male and top 5 female finishers.
TEAM AWARDS - FASTEST RUN CLUB
The Fastest Run Club Team Award recognizes the combined total time of the top 5 finishers from each Run Club. The Run Club's time will be the combined total time of the top 5 finishers from the Club. In order to participate you would set up a Corporate Team, and the name of the team should include Run Club in it.
