FAQ
The race benefits students at the KU Edwards Campus through grants and scholarships. Many of our students work full-time jobs as they are completing their degrees and sometimes all they need is help paying for a textbook. We have micro-grants that can help with that.
- Thursday, October 2nd, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the BEST Building east lobby. Look for signs, and you can temporarily park in the circle drive.
- Race day, 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. in the BEST Conference Center lobby.
Yes! Please ensure they know your specific information in case multiple people have the same name.
All participants must complete the routes by 11:00 am.
Yes, leashed pets are welcome if they handle crowds well and pet parents are responsible.

Please park in the lots closest to Jayhawk Central and the gas station. Overflow parking is located in front of the Regents Center building. Parking is always free at the KU Edwards Campus.
We cannot supply a secure gear drop-off location at this time.
Yes. The first one will be at the 1.4-mile mark of both the 5K and 10 K. The second will be at the 3.5-mile mark on the way out and at the 4.8-mile mark on the way back for the 10K only.
Yes! We have restrooms in the BEST building, right by check-in.
Participants who register before Sept. 15th will receive a KU commemorative free t-shirt & medal--this includes all of the races. Medals will be given to first-place winners in each age category (male & female) for the 5K & 10K. We may have extra t-shirts & medals for those registering after the 15th, but we can't guarantee sizes.
All races begin and end at the Best Conference Center at KU Edwards Campus located at 12604 Quivira Road, Overland Park, KS, 66213.
Yes! But be forewarned, there is a hill on both 5K & 10K.
Transferring registrations is not allowed because each runner is assigned a bib number. We do not refund registrations.
Participants of the 5k & 10K will be timed.
