Racing to Support Trisomy 18 Warriors!
Honoring The Life of Harper Grace Stone (1/16/26 - 1/18/26)
In June 2025, we learned we were expecting our fourth child. At nine weeks, we received the unexpected news that our daughter was at high risk for Trisomy 18. Through prayer, research, and support from specialists and other Trisomy 18 families, we prepared to fight alongside her.
Harper Grace lived 40 precious hours. Though brief, her life was powerful and purposeful. She fought with grace just to meet her family.
Trisomy 18 is often described as life-limiting, yet some children are living longer when families are supported with compassionate medical care and empowered to advocate for their baby’s health. Trisomy 18 occurs in approximately 1 in every 2,000 pregnancies. Approximately 50% of babies with Trisomy 18 who are carried to term are born alive. We run to honor Harper Grace and to raise awareness for Trisomy 18 warriors.
Proceeds from this race support the Trisomy 18 Foundation which helps to improve the lives of the children and families impacted by Trisomy 18 by providing support and connecting families, advocating for compassionate, supportive care, and advancing research into the future of Trisomy 18.
Run to raise awareness for Trisomy 18 warriors — running for the warriors who fight with grace like our Harper Grace.
