**** PARKING WILL BE TIGHT - PLEASE PLAN TO CARPOOL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE ****
Self Supported Race
Please be aware that due to the relatively short race distance and inaccessible nature of the trails, this is a SELF SUPPORTED event. This means that there will be no on-course aid (water, gels, etc.). Please plan to carry any water/nutrition you may need for the event with you.
There will be only day-of pickup at race HQ (Pignic Barn) from 7:30 AM until 8:20 AM.
Parking will be in the two lots adjacent to the Brown Forman Silo Center.
The course will be marked, but you can see the course map under the "Maps" section on the RunSignUp page for the event. Please be aware that it's something closer to the Turkey Run Trail Bash 5.1 Miler, but we didn't thank that sounded quite as catchy!
Join us for the third annual Turkey Run Trail Bash 5 miler to be held on the spectacular new trails in Turkey Run Park!
The Turkey Run Park trails are the most extensive set of trails in the new Parklands of Floyd's Fork development. Race amenities include a custom embroidered race beanie, finisher/overall awards, professional chip timing, free race photos, beautiful course on beginner-friendly trails, and post-race chili/coffee to help warm up afterwards! This will be a great event for anyone looking to try a trail race for the first time or seasoned trail runners looking for a fun, local trail race option over the winter.
The Turkey Run Trail Bash will be the final race in the Trail Bash Series! The Trail Bash Series aims to bring local, high quality trail races to the Louisville area through the winter months. With relatively short race options, the Trail Bash Series is ideal for new trail runners looking to experience the trail running world for the first time and veterans of the sport looking to maintain off-season fitness alike.
You can expect high quality swag, beautiful race venues, and the wonderful community that surrounds trail running at each of our Trail Bash events. Run all three events and receive a special series award!
Register for all three races at once for a 10% savings.
