119th Jackson Day Race
3rd Oldest Race in the Country!
Celebrate the victory at the Battle of New Orleans at the 119th Anniversary Jackson Day Race! The 2026 race date is Sunday, January 11th, starting and finishing at the Aycock Barn in St. Bernard Parish. The 9K course includes a segment inside the Chalmette Battlefield, part of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. Post-race festivities include local delicacies, beer, and fun for participants of all ages!

T-Shirt availability and sizes aren't guaranteed for race day registrants. T-shirts and sizes are only guaranteed to online pre-registered participants prior to race start. Shirts will be distributed to late and race-day registrants while supplies last. Shirt quantities and sizes are not guaranteed after the race start to any participant.
The 119th Jackson Day Race is open to all runners and walkers of all speeds, New Orleans Track Club members and nonmembers alike.
