Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge's (FHFGBR's) Annual Active for Autism 5K, Fun Walk & Family Fun Fest promotes awareness, acceptance & inclusion of those who are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. This event provides community education while generating partnerships with families & organizations across the Greater Baton Rouge, eight-parish area. Proceeds from Active for Autism help support FHFGBR's mission which is to provide individualized services, information & support needed to positively enhance the independence, productivity & inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. FHFGBR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

What's NEW This Year?
We've made a few changes to our Annual Active for Autism 5K Run/Walk & Family Fun Fest!
- AFA event t-shirts will be available with a paid registration fee.
- 5K Run Route. The 5K will be a chipped run assisted by Fresh Junkie Racing! A route map will be sent as the event date approaches.
- Registration pricing. Save a little on early registration!
- AirBrushMe LLC will be at the Fun Fest to provide FREE airbrush tattoos.
- Join us for a Dance Party after the One Mile Fun Walk!
- AFA Celebrity MC this year - Chad Sabadie!
- Special Appearance by Barney the Dinosaur, EBR Fire Department, and Louisiana Ghost Busters!

Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is at your own risk. Reserved parking is available with certain sponsorship levels and for vendors.
