Eastwood Baptist Church 5k

Course Description: The race will begin in the parking lot of Haughton High School and will follow a flat course leading through the Cornerstone Subdivision and then back to the high school.

Registration and Packet Pickup: Pre-registered participants will receive an official race T-Shirt.  Registration can be done online at www.sportspectrumusa.com, in person at Sportspectrum, located at 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport LA, or on Race Day.  Race Day registration will be in the registration tent from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m.  

Race packets can be picked up early at Sportspectrum

Thursday, February 23, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Friday, February 24, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 

You may also pick up your packet on Race Day from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. at Haughton High School.

You may also register by submitting this form with payment to Eastwood Baptist Church, 2810 Hwy 80, Haughton, LA.  The last day for registration at Eastwood will be Sunday, February 19. Make checks payable to EBC 5K.  For more information, call the church office (318) 949-9433.

Early Bird 5K Registration:  $15 per person
                                              Last day for early registration Sunday, January 22

Registration:  $20 per person
                       Monday, January 23-Sunday, February 19

Late Registration:   $25 per person Monday, February 20-Race Day

½ Mile Fun Run Entry Fee: (for Kids ages 10 and under) is $10.00 and includes a shirt through Sunday, February 19 and $15.00 on Race Day.

Phantom Runner: (Shirt Only): If you are not a runner but would like to support our teams, you can register as a Phantom Runner by February 19th and receive a shirt and our appreciation!

Team Challenge option
(for 5K participants)

This is your chance to compete as a team with a group of friends, family members or co-workers. 5K teams will compete against each other in their own Team Challenge division at the race.  HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

        Teams must consist of at least 4 members.

        There will be three divisions- Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Gender teams.

        The finishing times for the top four finishers on each team will be added up.

        The team with the lowest total time in each division is the winner!

        We will be posting an additional results page for Team Challenge participants.     

        There will be awards for the top two finishing teams in each division.

        How to Enter the Team Challenge:

During registration, you will be asked if you are part of a team. Enter your team name in the box when prompted and your team will then be part of the Team Challenge!

Join us after the race to enjoy music, food, water and awards.

Awards will be given for Overall 1st Place Male & Female in the 5K.

·         5K Runners: 1st and 2nd Place male and female winners will receive awards for each age group.

·         5K Age Groups: 11 – under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

·         Fun Run Awards: Awards will be given for Overall 1st Place Male & Female (age 10 and under).

Proceeds from this year’s race will help support the
Haughton High School Athletics Program.
