Lane always had the brightest spirit and that was evident the first moment I met her. I talked to her on pref night and knew this girl had to be an AOII. The whole conversation we gushed about AOII and how we loved it and how it was so easy to feel at home there. All that night I laid in bed hoping she preffed us. The next morning I saw her name on our bid list and was over the moon excited. I remember her running up to me on bid day in the greek theatre and giving me a huge hug and saying how excited she was that she was an AOII and that I was there to pick her up. For the next few weeks we became close friends, and I will forever cherish that I was able to share this sisterhood with such a beautiful, fun, and loving woman. -Delanie Majors
