Event Safety
For a preview of our routes, click here. There will be plenty of water at a water station that you'll pass twice along your way (three times for the 5K!), as well as plenty at the finish line. If you know you're a "thirsty" runner and would like to have additional hydration with you on the course, we highly recommend bringing additional fluids to ensure you stay safe.
There will be a lead bike in the 5K for the front runners to follow, as well as arrow signs and route assistants at turns to be sure you're going the correct way. Please stay to the left, do not block the entire roadway, and be aware of your surroundings. Lastly: running strollers and portable music players are allowed (please listen at a volume appropriate to hear instructions from any volunteers and race officials). Running with dogs, and participation on bicycles, scooters, and inline skating are all strictly prohibited for the safety of all participants.
