The American Kettlebell Lifters Union (AKLU) is a prominent organization dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of kettlebell lifting across the United States. Founded on principles of strength, technique, and community, the AKLU serves as a governing body for competitive kettlebell sport, sanctioning events, establishing national rankings, and upholding standards for lifters and coaches. Beyond competition, the AKLU champions the broader benefits of kettlebell training, fostering a vibrant community of enthusiasts, from beginners exploring fundamental movements to elite athletes pushing the boundaries of human performance. Through education, advocacy, and a passion for the unique discipline of kettlebell lifting, the AKLU aims to empower individuals and elevate the sport nationwide.

The IKO aims to be a community for kettlebell sport athletes and clubs, focusing on both education and competition.

Through its Science and Education Department (SED), the IKO offers workshops and certifications led by renowned kettlebell experts, covering technique, training methodology, and physical preparation. It also runs the Kettlebell Sport World League, which promotes local and international competitions, tracks athlete rankings, and helps unify the global kettlebell sport community. The IKO's mission is to make kettlebell sport accessible to everyone, fostering a strong and respectful network of lifters and clubs worldwide.
