You’re Invited To Make Your Miles Matter
Join the 10K Miles: 10K Trees – REACH GREEN Virtual Challenge, beginning October 1.
Move for miles, plant trees. Run, walk, ride, or swim (or however you log miles) from October 1-31. For every mile you record, we’ll plant a tree through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.
Our first project together supports reforestation of North Carolina’s endangered longleaf pine forests, now reduced to less than 6% of their original range. Your effort helps restore critical habitats and strengthen communities.
Registration is free and open to everyone. Registration is already underway, and excitement is building. Share the registration link, and encourage them to register or support your journey with a donation:

How The Challenge Works
1. Register: Create your profile, complete the waiver, and set your mileage goal.
2. Sign up solo or with others: Join an existing team or create your own with friends, coworkers, or your club.
3. Log your miles: Logging begins October 1, that’s when the “Submit Virtual Results” button will activate. Until then, and you try to follow the process, you may see a message that results can’t be submitted.
You can log miles in three ways:
Easiest way: From this page, click your avatar (circle with person silhouette) at the top right → Profile → find “10K Miles: 10K Trees” under Upcoming Events → scroll right to Submit Virtual Results.
Results tab: From this page, go to Results → Submit Virtual Results → find your registration → enter miles.
Strava/Garmin: You'll need to upload a file: On the “Submit Virtual Results” page, upload a GPX or FIT file from Strava/Garmin
Note: There is no direct connection to Strava or Garmin
Reminder: We’re on the honor system. Log the miles you complete, keep it honest, and have fun.
Spread the Word
Every mile = another tree planted. Share your journey on social, invite friends to register, and encourage your network to get involved.
Share your progress on social and tag @REACHGREENUSA
The more people who join and log miles, the more trees we plant together.
