How Do I Log My Miles?
If You Use Strava or Garmin

Log in to your RunSignUp account

Go to My Registered Races and select 10,000 Miles. 10,000 Trees. Virtual Challenge

Click Submit Virtual Results

Click Connect to Strava or Connect to Garmin

Authorize RunSignUp to access your activity data
→ Once connected, all eligible activities you record in Strava or Garmin will sync automatically and count toward your total mileage (no manual entry needed)
If You’re Logging Manually

Log in to your RunSignUp account

Go to My Registered Races and select 10,000 Miles. 10,000 Trees. Virtual Challenge

Click Submit Virtual Results

Select the date of your activity

Enter the number of miles you completed

Click Submit Activity
You can enter miles daily or add them in batches. Just be sure they’re logged during the challenge period (October 1–31).
Why Logging Your Miles Matters
This challenge is all about turning movement into measurable impact. Every mile you log results in a tree being planted on your behalf.
The more miles you track and log, the more trees we plant.
What is a Virtual Challenge?
A Virtual Challenge is an event that can be done anywhere. Unlike a typical race, you do not have to complete the challenge on a particular course and sometimes when you want versus a specific time period. The REACH GREEN Challenge asks you to log your miles for 10,000 Miles. 10,000 Trees REACH GREEN Challenge from October 1-31.
Is There a Mile Requirement?
No, there is no minimum for the number of miles you need to complete. Any amount helps us towards our goal of reaching 10,000 miles for 10,000 Trees. Just make sure to log the miles you complete and submit them by October 31.
How Can Someone Donate
For Participants
When you register for the 10,000 Miles. 10,000 Trees. Virtual Challenge, you’ll see an option to make a donation during checkout. Simply choose the amount you’d like to give and add it to your registration. If you’ve already registered, you can log in to your RunSignUp account, go to My Registered Races, select 10,000 Miles. 10,000 Trees. Virtual Challenge, and click Donate. From there, you can make a one-time gift or increase a previous donation at any time.
For Non-Participants
You don’t have to be a registered participant to support this challenge. To make a donation without registering, go to our Donation Page on RunSignUp, select your amount (or enter a custom amount), and complete the form. You’ll receive a confirmation email and receipt right away.
After the Challenge
If you’re inspired by the challenge or want to contribute once the event has ended, you can still donate. Just visit the REACH GREEN website Donate
