Description
The longest continually running road race on Martha's Vineyard, the Chappy Point to Point is a 5-mile road race from the waters of Wasque Point to the ferry at Chappy Point.
Registration is limited to 320 runners.
Race bibs can be picked up on June 28th at Memorial Wharf between 4:00 - 5:00 pm or in the Chappy Ferry parking lot from 7.00 - 8.00 am on June 29th. Runners who pick up their bibs on Saturday will receive a free passenger round trip on the Chappy Ferry. Vans will shuttle runners from the Parking Lot to the starting point at Wasque Point from 7.00 - 8.00 am.

Race Proceeds
This year, the race proceeds will be used to fund the operating expenses of Chappy Connect, a transportation service for older Chappy residents provided by The Edgartown Council on Aging in collaboration with Healthy Aging MV. With funds provided by last year’s Chappy Point to Point, Chappy Connect leased an all-electric VW ID-4 and launched its operations last month. Pre-scheduled rides are offered for free to Chappy residents age 60+ Monday-Thursday from 9 am to 1:30 pm. Rides are assigned first-come, first-served; companions are welcome, and can be to the grocery store, pharmacy, medical appointments, Steamship Authority, to visit a friend, etc. Interested riders should call the ECOA (508.627.4368) by 3 pm on Thursdays to schedule a ride for the following week.
