Description
Join us in celebrating with us Easter Weekend at the Tortoise and the Hare 5K & 10K and Color Run!! The event continues to fundraise for the Salisbury Parks and Recreation.

Packet Pick Up and Race Day Registration
Early packet pickup will be on Friday at the Salisbury Senior Center (43 Lafayette Rd) from 11-2PM.
Check In/Race day reg opens at 8:45AM at Lions Park under the pavilion!

Color Run

1 MILE COLOR RUN (NOT TIMED)
At each 1/4 mile mark, color runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder.
Some color runners opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths. Our color throwers make sure to aim low as you pass by. The color mostly washes out of your clothes after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. It’s best to wear items that you wouldn’t mind getting colorful.

Awards
Top 3 Overall M/F in each race
Top 3 M/F in each age group: Under 15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+
Top 3 Non-Binary
**No double dipping
*There will be no official award ceremony. Awards will be claimed at the black High5EM pop up tent on the basketball court.
There will be a picture opportunity there as well! Announcements will be made when you can begin to pick up your awards.

DPW and the Senior Center, 39/43 Lafayette Rd-Salisbury, MA.
Overflow parking at the Boys and Girls Club and the Salisbury Elementary School.
Post Race
A variety of packaged snacks and fruit will be available. Music & entertainment provided by Evolvement Radio!!
Those 21+ can grab 1 FREE beer on site using their ticket on their race bib!
A big shout out to our series wide, year long, post race pour provider, Sylvan Street Grille! Now you can continuing celebrating with fellow runners post race at Sylvan Street Grille! Choose from their Salisbury or Peabody location, anytime, all day! Just show them your race bib on the day of the event to redeem your much earned, free beer or glass of wine!!
Beneficiary
100% of the net proceeds will be allocated to the Salisbury Parks and Recreation.
Weather
Races are rain, snow or shine unless we determine that race conditions are dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend. If the race needs to be cancelled there will be no refunds but we will work to establish a postponement date. That being said, each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as t-shirts, insurance, and online administrative fees. All fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration.

Race Refunds & Event Cancellations
We understand life happens and things may come up. We’ve implemented a FREE deferral and transfer policy through March 14th. Refunds/deferrals after March 14th (without insurance), will incur a $10 fee for administration purposes. In the case of event cancellation due to public safety, inclement weather or some other unforeseen power at be, the event will be rescheduled if possible.
