About This Event
We cordially invite you to this years Walpole Labor Day Road Race. This year’s race will be held on Monday, September 2 and we are celebrating the 46th running of the event, making it one of the oldest races in the area and a wonderful Walpole tradition. The Herb Lewis Memorial and John D. Murphy and Co. 10K Race (6.2 miles) and “Walpole Ed” 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) start and finish at Walpole High School. For the last five years, the Marathon Sports Youth Mile has been a welcome addition to race day with over 80 young athletes competing. This is a USATF Sanctioned Event with both 5K & 10K courses being USATF Certified. All three races are organized to benefit the Walpole High School Cross Country and Track and Field Teams. We expect over 600 participants, many volunteers, and loads of cheering spectators!
