Bike (on a Schwinn or otherwise), walk, run, roll, ramble, or row to log Make Studio Miles to support our artists!
Challenge yourself, family, friends to a Virtual 5k Race or to log as many miles as you can (total accumulated mileage... doesn't have to be done all at once & you can mix activities) to provide much needed funds to support our artists' activities this year and advance Make Studio's mission of empowering artists with disabilities and connecting everyone through art.
This event's proceeds will directly fund the ongoing work of Make Studio -- its studio and community programs -- in support of its vision of a world of acceptance and inclusion where art opens doors for everyone.
Last year Board Member Lisa Scherer and daughter Sydney started the virtual "Schwinn-Along" challenge to help raise funds as the pandemic severely limited events. Make Studio fans embraced the challenge, getting outside and enjoying the opportunity to move and raise funds at the same time! Although our usual in-person events are starting to resume at closer to pre-pandemic levels, we're bringing back the race so that fans near and far (and those who aren't bingo, karaoke, or cocktail enthusiasts) can have the opportunity to support and celebrate the work of this fabulous community-based arts organization.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Register for either the virtual 5K Bike/Run/Walk or the Make Studio Miles Distance Challenge.
- Create a team! Encourage your friends and family to join in the racing fun, and/or donating in your honor.
- Be among the first 50 to register, and receive a fun commemorative pin
- If you opt to receive a race shirt (all are eligible) you can choose to pick it up (if you're local) or it will be sent directly to you!
- Log your workouts on the results page (Click Here)
- New this year: The fastest time in the 5k and the most miles logged in the Make Studio Miles challenge will win a piece of art from one of the Studio Artists!!
- Remember you have until 7/06/2022 to submit results, in order to be eligible for the speed/distance challenge.

Your registration includes:
- Make Studio T-shirt
- Commemorative enamel pin for the first 50 racers
- Event Race Bib (print at home)
- On-line results
- AND a chance to win a Make Studio artist original if you log the fastest time or most miles
