New Date: TBD
Dear Run for Radcliffe Registrants,
Thank you so much for your continued support of Radcliffe Creek School's scholarship fund in your registration for the 2020 Run for Radcliffe. This is Radcliffe Creek School's largest annual fundraiser for scholarships, which make it possible for students who learn differently to receive a customized learning program that helps them be successful. Your participation in our Run helps students who struggle with dyslexia, anxiety, ADHD, high functioning autism, and other learning disabilities become successful both in life and in high school!
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Run for Radcliffe will not be able to take place on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Radcliffe must postpone the race. We are currently looking at dates in the Fall of 2020. We will await wisdom from local, state, and national medical and political leaders in regards to all participant's safety, and will communicate a rescheduled date to you as soon as we are able. Thank you so much for your understanding and we hope to see you in the Fall.
Here are your options as a registrant:
-Remain registered in the 2020 Run for Radcliffe (date TBD)
-Defer your registration to the 2021 Run for Radcliffe (May 29, 2021)
-Retract your registration for the 2020 Run for Radcliffe and donate the cost of the registration to Radcliffe Creek School's scholarship fund
If you have any questions or would like to discuss a refund for the race, please contact kaburn@radcliffecreekschool.org.
Additional race information can be found at https://www.chestertownteapartyrun.org/.
On March 12, 2020, Governor Larry Hogan decreed that all events over 250 persons be cancelled, to help curtail the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) virus. We understand the need for the immediate cancellation of a few of our events, but we are hoping that THIS event will be outside of the timeframe. If the current State of Emergency encompasses our event, then we will have to re-evaluate the cancellation or re-scheduling of our event… BUT AT THIS TIME WE ARE STILL A GO FOR THE EVENT!!
What are we doing to help you decide if you should sign up… We are FREEZING all prices at their current rates. That means that there will not be ANY price increases for the events, until AT LEAST a week after the State of Emergency is lifted. This will allow YOU to decide when you sign up for the event, and to keep an eye on the situation.
AGAIN, at this time, THE EVENT IS STILL SCHEDULED and PRICES HAVE BEEN FROZEN. Should we have to take actions on the event, we will be reaching out to everyone, to explain the options available.
Packet Pick up is 3:30 to 5:00 on Friday May 22nd in the Radcliffe Creek Library. As well as Saturday May 23rd starting at 6:45
Now in its 44th year, come join Chestertown for a fun-filled weekend of family friendly events! The Chestertown Tea Party Distance Classic has been a part of the Chestertown Tea Party Festival for more than 30 years. Twelve years ago, Radcliffe Creek School took over the management of this event, with the proceeds benefiting the School’s scholarship fund. The run is the largest source of support for this fund. Both courses offer a view of the Chester River, and Kent County country-side!
Radcliffe Creek School changes children’s lives, and by participating in the Chestertown Tea Party 10-mile and 5K Distance Classic/Run for Radcliffe, you are helping make this possible. Whether a student has a learning difference such as dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, or a speech and language disorder, or would just simply benefit from an individualized environment, a Radcliffe education works.
