Step By Step 5K Fun Run/Walk - Virtual RACE

The "Step By Step" 5k fun Run/Walk is held in memory of Mike Blackwell an avid runner who was killed by an impaired driver. The focus of the event is to encourage a healthy lifestyle free of alcohol and other drug abuse. What better way to be healthy than through daily exercise!   Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this year's race will be held virtually.  That means you can run and walk at a time and location that is best for you. 

To be fair we won't award our timed medals this year because we know not every participant will run in the same format and on the same type of surface.  We will give out the Youngest Participant and Oldest participant medals and provide free t-shirts to the first 100 registered participants.   We will schedule times for race packet pick-up before the October 26th start date. 

We'll offer the 1/2 mile Kids Super Hero Dash for children 6 and under as a FREE event this year.  Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite super hero costume (be sure they are safe to run in). All runners will receive a participation certificate and the first 25 to register will receive a FREE super hero cape to decorate and a goody bag.  Super Hero dash participants do not receive a t-shirt.    We will schedule times for race packet pick-up before the October 26th start date.
