Who will you run or walk in honor of? Which older adult sparks love and memories for you?
"I’m running in honor of my grandma, who I haven’t been able to visit in a year, and who I miss very much. Love you, Nanna!"
"My kids and I are walking in honor of my parents, who immigrated to this country and worked incredibly hard for so many years, to help us have a good life."
"I’m walking in memory of my neighbor Ruth, who used to invite me over for long talks and cookies when I was a little girl, and always made me feel special. I’ll never forget you!"
All proceeds benefit Empowering the Ages, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. ETA's mission: to transform lives through facilitating and nurturing relationships across all generations. We connect people of different ages to each other and their communities to share, learn and feel valued. During the pandemic, we have organized pen pal programs, online concerts, weekly discussion groups with high school students, and a senior mentoring program for underserved pre-K students and their families. Thank you for helping us support even more people of all generations in these challenging times!
