We are so grateful for our venue host, North Pier Brewing Company! Participants can warm up indoors before or after the race, or outside on the patio with propane heaters and fireplace. North Pier is dog-friendly too. With a later race start, finish off your run or walk with a beer and lunch at North Pier, or head across the street for one of the best burgers around at North Shore Inn!

IMPORTANT
THIS EVENT IS CHIP TIMED. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR BIB IS ON THE OUTERMOST LAYER OF YOUR CLOTHING TO ENSURE THE CHIP IS READ AS YOU START AND FINISH THE RACE.
WALKERS: Participants registered for the 5K Walk must maintain contact with the ground with at least one foot. Walkers observed not following this rule, or observed jogging or running at any time will be disqualified from receiving an award.
The Rescue Run will continue with the new course launched in 2019. The majority of the route is on paved paths in the Harbor Shores area, with a few short sections on gravel paths. The start and finish of the route are on North Shore Drive. Participants may run or walk in the bike lane or on the sidewalk. View route online

SWMI RACERS presents the 7th Annual RACERS Rescue Run 5K to honor Veteran's Day. Run or walk this chip-timed 5K, with or without a dog. Proceeds benefit One Troop, a Community for Veterans.

NOTE: This is a chip-timed event. Participants registered for the WALK must walk the entire time. If you plan to Walk AND Run/Jog, please register for RUN.
This year's event benefits One Troop with a mission to use community to improve the mental and physical health of military veterans. Their team of volunteers is committed to helping build a community. Trained team members offer fitness coaching. They work to connect veterans with other peers and directs them to resources in which veterans qualify.
