Storm Runners Race

Join us for the 12th Annual Storm Runners Race featuring a 1 mile fun run and 5k run/walk on the beautiful cross country course at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church and School. Race to benefit the: SHEPHERD OF THE LAKES SCHOOL “STORM”

The race will be held on Sunday afternoon starting at 3:30 pm. 

1 mile is a shot gun start at 3:30pm and 5K at 4:00pm.

COURSE: Cross country type course including trails and fields with slight hills. Race is chipped timed.

BE SURE TO PREREGISTER! THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

PACKET PICKUP: At Shepherd of the Lakes Church.  The families that are part of the school we will send home their packets with the oldest child on Friday, all other participants can pick up their packets on Race day, September 17th starting at 9:30 am to 11:30 am or at 3:00 pm.

AWARDS: Medals to all youth finishers, Trophies to 1 mile winners, Gift Cards to top 5K finishers: Male and Female and overall winners.

AGE GROUPS: 1 Mile Fun Run: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-14 5K Run/walk: 10 & under, 11-17, 18 & over Male and Female, Male and Female overall

REGISTRATION INCLUDES: Commemorative race T-shirt. Shirts not guaranteed for late entries (after Sept.7th).

PARKING: Available at Shepherd of the Lakes Church & School parking lots, please no parking on grass.

RESULTS: We will have live results on this site!

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and live on this website.
