The Tri-Cities Family YMCA invites you to join the fun in the Coast Guard Run presented by North Ottawa Community Health System! There's something for everyone from the avid racer to the occasional walker, with our 10K Run/Walk, 5K Run/Walk, the 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk (ok to bring your wagon or stroller!) and the Tot Trot obstacle course for ages 3-6. All ages are welcome to participate, so bring your mom, dad, grandma and grandpa. Join us for our annual family event as we promote healthy lifestyles in the tri-cities area.
START TIMES: 5K at 7:30am, 10K at 8:30am, 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk at 8:45am, Tot Trot at 9:15am.
Participants wishing to run both the 5k and 10k events only need to register for one event. Our timing system will register times for both at no extra charge!

at the Tri-Cities Family YMCA, 1 Y Drive in Grand Haven
All packets must be picked up by 9am. Packets/T-shirts will not be held for those who do not show up.
10K and 5K Male & Female, Masters, Age 8 and under, 9-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group at the Awards Ceremony following the events. No awards will be presented in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
The 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk is a non-competitive run/walk for the entire family (strollers and wagons welcome). We offer both a T-shirt and no shirt option for the 1 mile family fun run. The FREE Tot Trot obstacle course for ages 3-6 takes place at Mulligan’s Hollow. Pre-Registered participants will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag

Pleases allow time for parking. The YMCA lots will close by 645am. If you have parked at the YMCA, you will not be able to exit until 1030am. Parking in local municipal lots and city streets is advised. It is safe to estimate a 10-15 minute walk to the YMCA.
In the event of inclement weather, events will be delayed in 15 minute increments. If the 5k race has not been started by 830am, all events will be cancelled.
The race begins near the corner of Sherman Avenue and Sand Drive just east of the Tri-Cities Family YMCA. All events conclude in front of the YMCA. The course is challenging, with varied terrain, and offers the beautiful scenery of Lake Michigan and Grand Haven. The 5k route is US Track & Field Certified.
Please note this is an open course. Please be mindful of possible traffic and respectful of volunteers and public safety officials directing runners-it is for your safety.

We do allow jogging strollers, but please line up at the rear of the starting line.
