Description
Free 5k open to all students in Michigan.
All Participants must preregister online. No race day entries.
All participants receive a T-shirt.
Medals will be given to the top 3 in each age (not age group) male and female. Ages 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17
Accurate 5k with all miles marked. Chipped time.
Location: Start and Finish on Michigan Ave in front of the Lansing Center .
The race is funded by the Michigan Running Foundation. The purpose of the race is to encourage young people to get outside and run, to set a challenging goal, to experience the joy and sense of accomplishment of finishing a 5k race.
Come race with your student
The race is held in conjunction and at the same time as Run for Fame. After you sign up your student for the Youth Challenge 5k sign yourself up for this nice race for a great cause and join your student in the race. Click HERE to sign up.
