This is a family-friendly event that combines paddling on the Shiawassee River with pedaling on the LAFF Pathway.  THIS IS NOT A RACE! The LAFF Paddle and Pedal Event will offer a chance to exercise your upper body with kayaking or a canoe and your lower body by pedaling your bike on Phase 1 of the LAFF Pathway. You will have an opportunity over the 3 day weekend (June 3 - June 5th) to complete the recommended route, you pick the day you want to participate. After a fun day of paddling and pedaling you'll want to stick around and grab a bite at the food truck(s) and enjoy entertainment on the Gazebo by the river.  Food truck(s) and Entertainment till 8:00pm

Participants receive 1 Unisex Sport-Tek T-shirt OR 1 Women's Sport-Tek Tank Top.  You MUST sign-up by May 26 to pick up your shirt during the event weekend.  Anyone who signs up between May 27 and June 5 will still receive a shirt and can be picked up after June 16 at CycleFit during regular business hours, Mon-Fri 10-7 and Sat 10-5. CycleFit is located at 1006 N. Leroy St, Fenton, MI 48430. 

Registration Packet and shirt pick-up table will be located near the Linden Mills at 201 N Main St, Linden, MI.  Registration table is open from 10am - 4pm.  For our early risers each morning of the event there will be a strudel bite tray provided by Alpine Market. (1 strudel per person while supplies last

The paddling route will have you go east up the Shiawassee to Tupper Lake or Lake Ponemah and then back.  The pedaling route starts from the Mill building in downtown Linden. Head West on Broad Street along the North sidewalk, this will connect to the LAFF Pathway (Broad St turns into Silver Lake Rd) - Then continue to Lobdell Road - Turn around and head back following the same route till you get to Chestnut Way - Cross at bike crossing to the side walk on the south side of Silver Lake Rd - South on Byram Lake Dr. which turns into Hyatt Ln. - East on Stan Eaton - South on Bridge street sidewalk - Side walk ends Cross to bike path in Linden County Park - Follow path to Soccer Fields - Turn around head back on trail - Head North on sidewalk east side of Bridge Street back to downtown Linden - East on Hickory St. - North on N. East St. - Cross E. Broad St. which returns you to the Mill building.  Signs will be posted to guide you along the way!

Please visit their website for rental information. or send them a message on facebook, or call 810-458-4570.  They are only able to accommodate 100 participants a day so WE SUGGEST YOU MAKE RESERVATIONS AHEAD OF TIME TO GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY.
